Summary
The My StampWants - Buying Summary page contains a miniature, but fully functional version of the Bidding, Watching, Items I've Won, and Items I Did Not Win areas. This will give you a summary overview of all your buying and bidding activity on StampWants.
Bidding
The Bidding section of the My StampWants area allows members to view and track auctions which they are currently bidding on.
Search and Filter Area
As with all sections, listing can be searched, filtered by listing type, and sorted. Additionally, items can be filtered by a seller's full or partial username.
Item Information
As with all sections, the id and title of the item are displayed. Clicking on the title of the item will expand the row, and clicking on the item id will take the user to the specified listing. The current bid is also displayed, along with your maximum bid. If you are winning the auction, your maximum bid will be displayed in green. If you are not winning the auction (you have been outbid, or the reserve has not yet been met), your bid will display in red. The seller of the listing is also indicated, as well as the starting bid, number of bids, views, start date and end date of the listing. Additionally, a status column will specify if you are winning the auction, or if you are not winning the auction, and explanation as to why you are not winning.
Row Expansion Information and Options
Expanding the row will reveal an image of the listing, if available, as with all sections in the My StampWants area. You can also view the shipping and handling charges, as well as click to raise your bid.
Actions Icons
There are no actions icons in this section.
Bulk Action Icons
Export - As with all sections, you can export a list of the items in this section using the Export Bulk Action, just be sure that you set the Apply to accordingly.
Tips and Suggestions
- You may find it helpful to sort your current bids by "Seller," this way you can easily take advantage of shipping discounts where applicable.
Watching
The Watching section of the My StampWants area allows members to view and track auctions which they are watching. You can watch items by clicking on "Watch this Item" on any item listing details page.
Search and Filter Area
As with all sections, listing can be searched, filtered by listing type, and sorted. Additionally, items can be filter by a seller's full or partial username.
By default, once an item ends it will not show in the Items I'm Watching section. However, there is a filter which you can click to "View Closed Listings Too". Clicking this filter will turn the red "X" to a green check mark, and will display listings which you are watching and have closed in addition to active listings.
Item Information
As with all sections, the id and title of the item are displayed. Clicking on the title of the item will expand the row, and clicking on the item id will take the user to the specified listing. The current bid (if the item is an auction) is also displayed, along with the starting bid and buy it now price (if applicable). The seller of the listing is also indicated, as well as the number of bids, views, and end date of the listing. Additionally, a status column will specify if you are bidding on the listing if it is an auction.
Row Expansion Information and Options
Expanding the row will reveal an image of the listing, if available, as with all sections in the My StampWants area. You can also view the shipping and handling charges.
Actions Icons
Under the options column, you can click to delete an item from your Items I'm Watching list.
Bulk Action Icons
Export - As with all sections, you can export a list of the items in this section using the Export Bulk Action, just be sure that you set the Apply to accordingly.
Delete - You can delete items from your Items I'm Watching list in bulk.
Tips and Suggestions
- If you think an auction may have disappeared from your Items I'm Watching list, try clicking on the filter to include closed listings too. If an item is sold at a buy it now price, it may close earlier than you thought it would have.
Items I've Won
The Items I've Won section of the My StampWants area allows members to view and manage listings which the have won and purchased. There are many important features in this section, including paying for items, leaving feedback, and marking items as paid and received.
Search and Filter Area
As with all sections, listing can be searched, filtered by listing type, and sorted. Additionally, items can be filtered by a seller's full or partial username. You can also filter items by the date in which they were won/purchased. By default this is set to the last 30 days, but you can change this to any date range you want. Since full name and email addresses are exchanged when you purchase an item from a seller - you can also search by a seller's full or partial name or email address.
In addition to filtering by listing type, you can also filter to view unpaid items only ("Unpaid Only") or items which you have not yet received only ("Not Received").
Item Information
As with all sections, the id and title of the item are displayed. Clicking on the title of the item will expand the row, and clicking on the item id will take the user to the specified listing. The price you paid for the item ("Realized") is also indicated, as well as the price the auction started at (if the item is an auction), along with buy it now price (if applicable). The seller of the listing is also indicated, as well as the number of bids, views, and end date of the listing.
One of the most important fields here is the Pay Now column, which will have a dark green "Pay Now >>" link if you have not yet paid for the item. Be sure to click "Pay Now >>" once per each seller you have purchased items from. After clicking Pay Now, you will be brought to the Pay Now / Checkout screen, where you can get a total for your items, and submit payment online using PayPal or Google Checkout (if the seller accepts these forms of payment). You can also get a total and print the checkout page if you are sending a check or money order.
Unlike other sections of the My StampWants area, here you can click on the seller's username to get all of the seller's contact information, address and to send them an email or StampWants My Message. If you have a question for a seller after you have made a purchase from them, or want to check on the status of your order, be sure to click on the seller's username in this section.
Row Expansion Information and Options
Expanding the row will reveal an image of the listing, if available, as with all sections in the My StampWants area. You can also view the shipping and handling charges. You will also be able to view the paid status you set, and the received status you set, along with the dates you set this information. Additionally, if the seller has set their paid status, or shipment status, you can also view this information and date set by expanding the row.
Actions Icons
- Click this icon to set your Paid Status. Available options include: Waiting..., Canceled, Refunded, Unpaid, Paid, Paid with PayPal, Paid by Check, Paid by Money Order, Paid by Credit Card and Paid with Google.
- Click this icon to set your Received status. Available options include: Not Received, Received, Canceled and Returned.
- Click this icon to leave feedback for the seller, for this transaction. Once you have left feedback the star will become colored.
- If the circled check mark is colored, this indicates you have received feedback from the seller for this transaction.
Bulk Action Icons
Export - As with all sections, you can export a list of the items in this section using the Export Bulk Action, just be sure that you set the Apply to accordingly.
Set Paid Status - You can set the paid status of items you have won in bulk. The same options as indicated above in the Actions Icons are available here to be set in bulk.
Set Received Status - You can set the received status of items you have won in bulk. The same options as indicated above in the Actions Icons are available here to be set in bulk.
Leave Feedback - You can leave feedback for the items you have won in bulk. The same options as indicated above in the Actions Icons are available here to be set in bulk.
Tips and Suggestions
- If you want to update the paid status, received status, or leave feedback for all items from a seller, filter by that seller first, by entering their username in the "Seller" filter. Then go to the Bulk Action Icons and change the "Apply To" drop down box to "All Items in Filter". Then click any of the Bulk Action Icons.
- To get a quick overview of items you still need to pay for, just filter by the "Unpaid Items Only" filter. However, be sure you set the date range back far enough to cover all your unpaid purchase.
Items I Did Not Win
The Items I Did Not Win section of the My StampWants area allows members to view and track auctions which they previously bid on, but did not win. Any auction which is in your Items I'm Bidding On section, which you do not win, will automatically be moved to this section.

You can also filter items by the date in which they ended. By default this is set to the last 30 days, but you can change this to any date range you want.
Unlike the Items I've Won section, which does not allow you to delete any items, you can delete items from this list. However, you can set a filter in the search and filter area labeled "Show Deleted" to show the items which you did not win and deleted, along with the items you did not delete.

Tips and Suggestions
Pending Results...
The Pending Results section of the My StampWants area allows members to view Public Auction and Mail Sale items which they have bid on, and are now closed, but the results are still pending. When you bid on a Public Auction or Mail Sale item, your bid competes against other bidders not on StampWants, such as live, phone and fax bidders. This means that even if you are the high bidder on StampWants when the auction ends, you may still be outbid. Until the Auction House provides us with the results, the item will remain in the Pending Results section.
Once the Auction House provides us with the results of a particular Public Auction or Mail Sale, all items from the auction/sale will automatically be moved from the Pending Results section to either the Items I've Won section or the Items I Did Not Win section.

Tips and Suggestions
- If a Public Auction or Mail Sale has closed, and an item has remained in your Pending Results section for several days, you may contact the Auction House, as they may be able to let you know if you won the auction, before we are able to.
