Other than the stamps...Im self employed. Mostly painting and Apartment Maintenance. Amateur Mycologist, Through the summer and fall I harvest and sell wild mushrooms. Heavy reader and collect alot of books, Ancient Literature, Norse and Icelandic Sagas, King Arthur sort of titles, as well as birding and Nature studies.

 Ive seen it on one of our goofy convention T-shirts. I'm often asked "Does that make you a fun guy". I have to laugh every time.

It makes you interesting.  I can honestly say that I have never known a Mycologist and would never have known what it was without you contribution.  You would think with all the fungi that grows here in the humid climes of South Carolina, I would have met at least one...

Youd think. NAMA(North Amer. Mycological Assc.) Held convention in Charleston Two years ago. About forty of us took a bus ride to Cypress gardens for a foray. Who knows you may have seen us. Though some of us are on our hands and knees searching the underbrush. I thinf theres actually a bio blitz scheduled for your area this year or next. Not so close though, heading for the Mnts.
