Scott #8A Franklin Strip of 3 w/APS Cert (Stock #8A strip3)!!!

Fresh, used strip certified and accompanied by the original APS Cert:

Cert Date: 9/6/2007

Cert#: 177705

Cert reads:

United States, Scott #8A, Pos.58-59-60R4, used strip of three, manuscript cancel, genuine, vertical crease on middle stamp."

This one is even plated!! What a fantastic strip with the end stamps being completely sound (the middle stamp has a very light crease not noted on the face). The middle and right stamps are complete 4 margin stamps (the right stamp is a gem!!!). Beautiful fancy "East Windsor, Ct/Dec 15,1858 cancel (this is a beautiful late usage since perforating began in July 1857).

I recommend for collectors (unless they are experts in this field) not to purchase these rare stamps unless they get an extension for immediate certification. As an example of the charge for certification, for this stamp, the PSE would currently charge for the cert (4.5% of CV)+ shipping both ways would come to almost $200 (even more if you want them to plate this).
