Description
Up for auction is this 1934 Event Day cover celebrating the 125th birthday of Abraham Lincoln with 1923 Scott #555 Lincoln 3 cent stamp. This cover is postmarkd February 12, 1934 Hodgenville KY, birthplace of Lincoln. The cover is pencil addressed to John Davidson, the poet that wrote the poem in the cachet of the cover. The stamp is lightly canceled (see photo closeup).
