This is a single of Scott #286, the 2 Cent "Farming" 1898 Trans-Missisppi Issue. This single is graded at VF for centering, is fresh in appearance with bright color, but it has been lightly hinged and has disturbed gum (it appears as if it lightly adhered to a glassine). This one looks like it came from the USPS yesterday and not 110 years ago. This would make a beautiful addition to any singles collection.
