Postcard showing a the promenade, beach and road of Lake Shore Drive in Lincoln Park area of Chicago's North Shore. What a difference merely a century makes: not too many people crouding the beach, horese drawn buggies, few buildings, not the thousands cramming the area, a high speed highway with 50-60 mph traffic.
