Today, the kilns of Portugal's Farval China Company turns out the finest faience pottery in the world. Like this modern, hand-made and hand-painted square-shape bowl with green shamrock design. It measures 5.5" in diameter and 3" deep and is brand-new, unused and in pristine condition. It is the perfect size and shape for soaking stamps off paper. Based on its age (c.1985), excellent condition and unique design, we estimate its FMV at $125.00 USD. On January 24, 1990, Portugal issued this F-VF MNH Limited Edition Souvenir Sheet (Scott No. 1799) to publicize the nation's thriving faience industry.
