Description

Two-Cover Set Features All 10 Stamps
In Gorgeous Pacific Coral Reef Sheetlet

The sixth sheetlet in the ongoing 'Nature of America' series featured the denizens of the Pacific Coral Reef (Scott 3831 a-j).

Cartoonist and cachetmaker Dave Bennett depicted 15 of these marine critters in his pop-up cachet - which folds down to album size, but opens up to a full 12"!

Among the briny populace featured are the Black-Spotted Puffer, the Lionfish, the Snowflake Moray Eel, the Emperor Angelfish, the Hawksbill Turtle, the Spanish Dancer and 9 others!

This auction is for TWO FDCs that between them bear all 10 stamps from the sheetlet. Both have nice clear First Day of Issue cancels from Honolulu, HI on Jan. 2, 2004.
