Rebsamen was General Manager of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas Water and Light Company when this public utility constructed its new, state-of-the-art electric power plant at the corner of Main Street and Johnson Avenue to house the 3 new steam boilers and 2 turbines which generated 4500 KW of electricity for this growing community. The new power house is featured on this rare, postally used, penny postcard which was postmarked at Jonesboro on August 5, 1946. It is in very excellent condition.
