Description

Welcome to our last big stamp sale of the year! We will be auctioning approx. 150 lots, all starting at 1 cent no reserve, with selections from the USA, Canada, British Commonwealth, France Germany and Worldwide... something for everyone. All items in the store are on sale at the same time...an event you will not want to miss. We are in the process of receiving a large shipment, and will be uploading as we receive. The majority has arrived, and we are starting with approx. 100 lots. One section of the shipment has been delayed. As soon as it arrives...hopefully in a week or so... we will upload it. We believe there will be approx 50 lots in that section, and we are told their are some excellent items included...so do not miss the last section when it is uploaded.

We do not examine the individual stamps in job lots in any way...we just photograph and pack for shipping. What you see is what you get. Make certain you examine all the photographs carefully...you may be amazed at what you find. Not your average job lots! Those that are familiar with us will know there will be some excellent deals to be had. Enjoy!

All stamps are described to the best of my knowledge. I always try to illustrate the auction with clear, large photos . Please be aware that I have a limited knowledge of much of my material. Often a listing was a part of a much larger collection. Inspect the items carefully, as my descriptions may be brief. The item you see is the item you get! I enjoy working with stamps, but my other duties with http://www.strays.ca/ usually leave me with too much to do, and too little time. Often a volunteer has taken the pictures, and I upload what I have. If you require a photo of the back (or a clearer photo of the front if the uploaded one is not clear) and there is not one here, please let me know and I will be glad to either add one to the listing or send to you.

As general guidelines regarding descriptions, the condition of the items will be described as accurate as possible. With individual stamps, all of the generally accepted major flaws which are not always visible in the pictures, regardless of the resolution (e.g. thins, etc.) will be mentioned in the description if they exist. Flaws which are clearly visible in the pictures, like missing perfs., tears, creases , obvious soiling/toning, short margins on one or more sides, reinforced perfs. for multiples, etc. might not always be mentioned in the description and they alone do not constitute an acceptable reason in case of a return. Some "flaws" which are not uniformly accepted as being so, like paper adhesion on the back of a stamp, off-sets, natural gum skips or wrinkles, heavy hinging, etc. might not always be described.

I am not an expert by any means....but I'm trying, and I am sure having fun learning! I accept best offers...but please be reasonable.

As always, I'll be happy to answer any questions regarding the listings if I can.

If you see an error in pricing and think an item is too low, by all means grab it up...but tell me where I made a mistake so I will know for next time. If I am too high, please tell me why you think so. Help is always appreciated.

Seller's Shipping & Payment Details :
We ship by Canada post. $100 Insurance and tracking can be arranged for an additional $9 added to any size order. We take EVERY care in shipping, placing your address and return address clearly on front and back. It is EXTREMELY unlikely that anything will go wrong, but once an item is out of our hands we are not responsible. In some instances recently, esp. to overseas, Canada Post has charged us more than we have charged the customer. From now on, if this happens we will notify customer. if they decline to pay the extra, we reserve the right to ship by surface, which takes considerably longer. Sorry. We try to be as fair as possible. If you are buying multiple job lots the automatic payment calculated by Stampwants will probably be too high. Please ask if you want us to calculate a more accurate cost once you have finished purchasing.... we will take to the post office and have them determine a price.
