Please help me allay some of my wife's concerns about how much this new hobby is costing!

Here is a beautiful, vividly colored US Treasury Department official stamp. A dealer at the Garfield-Perry March Party stamp show confirmed that this is an O77. There is a hinge mark, but other than that the reverse looks good, except that there is no gum. I believe that centering qualifies as fine, but I'm not an expert, and the scan will give you a better idea than any claim of mine.

I just took another look at the scan of the back of the stamp and saw that the hinge mark is not visible. It is there, and can be seen if the stamp is angled just right.

Catalog value of this stamp was $150 with original gum in 2005.
