 AS&S's US #286; MNH; blk of 4 w/PN; CV$400
2-cent block of 4, with bottom plate number and Imprint Type VIII. Average centering and appearance. Exceptionally good color. Never hinged. No thins or tears. Does have weakened perfs and separated horizontal perfs between the 2 rightmost stamps. It is a very hard to find block! Trans-Mississippi Exposition issue, 1898.
