USA #9 - 1 cent Franklin Imperf Type IV - Regular Issue 1851-56.This stamp is in Very Fine/Extremely Fine condition with nearly 4 full margins (just touching at upper left). Light red face free cancel. The stamp is sound in all respects - no thins, tears, creases, etc. There is a pencil note on back indicating plate position. The catalog value of this stamp is $130.00 according to Scott 06. The red cancel adds another $30.00 to the value.
