A 3-cent Washington stamp printed in the early 1860s. Color is vivid, and the light handstamp cancel does not obscure the image. There is a torn perf along the top edge. The image is offset to the performations along the left edge. The back is very clean, with only a very faint hinge mark.

This is probably one of the Scott 65 variations, which aren't worth very much, but maybe it's one of the rarer colors which are worth a lot more.
