1992 Columbus Voyage of Discovery Little Rock AR - PINPEX '92 Pictorial cancel (10/11/1992) on US Flag (UX153) post card.

1992 was the 500^th Anniversary of Columbus's trip to the New World. There were many pictorials available throughout the USA for the event. I collected a lot of them on post cards as they allow for a very good strike of the cancel. Where it seemed appropriate a post card that represented the area was used, otherwise I used the 19c Flag card. I thought of adding cachets to the cards but there are sometimes when a cachet takes away from the cancel. This is one of those times. Please check back as more will be added from time to time. Almost all of these are one of a kind (done by me.)
