157 - XF Used Red Fancy Cxl - PSE CERT - Cat $27.50

USA #157 - 2 cent Jackson Large Banknote Issue of 1873 - Brown Shade.

This stamp has Extremely Fine centering and overall appeal with beautiful red fancy cork cancel. The paper is clean(white wove paper) and the color is a crisp brown. Unfortunately there is a diagonal crease in lower left, but it is not visible from front and doesn't take away from the look of this stamp.

The catalog value of this stamp is $22.50 according to Scott 06 and the red cancel adds another $5.00 to the value.

This stamp is accompanied by a fresh (unfolded) 2006 PSE certificate of authenticity. The certificate mentions the corner crease. Thanks for checking out this stamp - I'm sure it would look great in your collection.
